↞May Goals↠

Before I talk about my goals for the month of May, let me talk about motivation and what I've learned about it. I used to think people were born with a certain amount of motivation and that I just so happened to be one of the ones that didn't get blessed like that. I know some people who are constantly motivated and take on all their goals like it's nothing. I mean they wake up just ready to tackle everything and I envy people like that because I have bad days/weeks even months of just consistent procrastination and laziness. And then sometimes I have consistent days where I'm a go getter and nothing can stop me. I learned that motivation is a mindset. When I turned my focus towards my goals instead of how much I didn't feel like doing them and just did it, that's when I got the most accomplished. It's the days when I remember why I want to do the things I want to do and reminisce on my purpose. I also find myself getting more motivated when I make my own unique goals. For example, everyone says "I want to work out more." But why? I personally want my legs more defined, no cellulite, toned arms, and my double chin to go the freak away!! Be specific with your goals and make sure their centered around things you want for yourself instead of things you want like something you see on social media, because then you get discouraged when you don't meet that standard. Start small because it's easy to give up when you're tackling something big and you're JUST starting off. Motivation is something that YOU control. You control whether you have none or a whole bunch. Take it day by day. So I challenge myself to get motivated in these seven things this may:

➽ Waking up with a go get it attitude. To remember why I have the goals I have and that these little goals are what will help me get to the ultimate BIG GOAL.

➽ Clean eating. Eventually I want to go vegan. But baby steps girl, baby steps. My main goal right now is to at least cut out dairy and sweets. Sweets aren't that much of a challenge for me though, I rarely eat them.

➽ WORK OUT. Cliche I know, but I always get consistent and after that one "rest day" I cannot seem to get back in the groove or get back motivated. I need to turn my "I'll do it later's" into "I'm going to do it's". At least do some type of mini exercise a day, if I'm not going hard 3 times a week.

➽ Post a blog once a week or at least once every two weeks + uploading a video on my channel at least twice a month for now with my busy schedule. (check my last post to find the link to that *winks* lil self promo)

➽ Plan things out ahead of time { get an agenda } so that I can cross them out whenever I do get it done. That's always a rewarding feeling crossing out thing on your checklist

➽ Practice saving! Lord knows it's not a strength of mine.

➽ Create scheduled times to study my Bible instead of whenever I feel like it. It would help if I had someone to study with.

What are your goals for May? Write them down so that you can hold yourself accountable.

I pray to God to break that spirit of laziness on me and you in the name of Jesus.

xoxo 💘
